We service and repair E-Motors

We service Bosch, Shimano, Fazura, Brose, Bafang, Yamaha, Mahle, Impulse. We are a Bosch, Shimano, Brose and Pinion official warranty service centre. We diagnose and inspect your motor and then notify you of costs, if you agree to proceed the cost of inspection (£50) is knocked off the total cost. Follow the steps on our booking form and we will take care of the rest and keep you informed.

What’s a Service vs a full overhaul?

We start by giving your motor a full health check. It’s carefully tested, then stripped down and inspected so we can see exactly what’s going on inside — not just the obvious issue, but anything else that might cause problems down the line.

Once we’ve had a proper look, we’ll put together a clear report explaining what we’ve found, along with a price for the work. We’ll always contact you first and talk it through before doing anything, so you’re completely happy to go ahead.

Motor Service

We start by testing, stripping, and inspecting your motor to see exactly what’s going on inside.

Once checked, we’ll send you a clear report and price, and won’t carry out any work without your approval.

Usually, we only replace the parts or bearings that have failed. However, with some motor types, a full overhaul is often the best and most reliable option — and we’ll explain if that’s the case.

Full Overhaul

Your motor is fully tested, then stripped so all internal drivetrain parts can be ultrasonically cleaned and inspected.

All drivetrain bearings are replaced with original-spec (or better). Fresh grease is applied throughout, with specialist greases used where needed to protect against wear and water ingress. New seals, O-rings, and circlips are fitted as standard.

Finally, the motor is reassembled in our clean, purpose-built workshop and fully re-tested before it leaves us.

What does a e-motor service look like then?

Most of the time, we replace only the parts or bearings that have failed, avoiding unnecessary work. For some motor brands and models, though, a full overhaul is the smarter and more reliable option. If that applies to your motor, we’ll explain why and talk you through the choices.
